Nick is a second generation building contractor who worked for both his father and his uncles business before starting his own, 2nd Generation. Nick learned his trade initially as an apprentice joiner where he began learning around his school and university education eventually becoming a project manager & studying his Masters degree in Construction Project Management (MSc). Nick has also become a trained chef, working in one of Birmingham’s top high-end restaurants. This has given Nick a unique perspective from both sides when creating the perfect restaurant. Nick has used this distinctive & extensive knowledge to take the business from strength to strength in the world of bars & restaurants.
Catherine has spent a large part of her career in the drinks industry, notably in the world of wine, where she managed wine exports for one of the largest wine companies in the world for Asia, Latin America & the Middle East. During this time, where she worked with one of the most prestigious & creative restaurants & bars around the world, did her love of the designs for these spaces develop. She later studied interior design at KLC and Central Saint Martins and use this distinctive blend of experience to develop the interior design side of 2G within the world she knows & loves: Restaurants & Bars.
Jenny has her BFA in Art and Art History. She has studied further on at KLC Design in London. She hails from New York City where she first went on to apply her creative skills overseeing Operations, Marketing and Sales at Time Inc- one of the oldest and most distinguished media companies in the United States. She was the first Business Development member at Abrams Media, NYC where she lead the department working with renowned international television clients, technology and fashion brands. She later went back to her roots and obsession of art and interior design- first freelancing then co-founding 2G Interiors taking her creative project management and business skills and applying it to her passion for food, interior design and the overall customer experience.
